Box 24e - Diagnosis Pointer

Box Definition 

Box 24e indicates the line letter from Box 21 that relates to the diagnosis or nature of illness or injury. When multiple diagnoses are added to Box 21, multiple diagnosis pointer letters will show for each service, depending on the primary diagnoses selected for each service on the claim.
