Box 27 - Accept Assignment?

Box Definition

Box 27 is used to indicate that the provider agrees to accept assignment under the terms of the insurance payer's program.

To change the accept assignment on the claim form:

1. Navigate to the Patient>Treatment Episode>[Select Treatment Episode]>Intake>Insurance.
2. Click into the insurance policy in the insurance set.
3. Navigate to the Policy Holder tab.
4. Select the Default Benefits Assignment. (Selecting Facility sets the Accept Assignment to Yes, selecting Patient sets to No.)
   
5. Click Save.
