Box Definition 

Box 27 indicates that the provider agrees to accept the assignment under the terms of the insurance payer's program.

• The benefits assignment is established within the Policy Holder tab on the patient's insurance set. To learn more about updating the benefits assignment, click here.
  
  Additionally, the default benefits assignment for all patients can be configured within the Configuration > Insurance Billing tab of the Practice Admin. For more information on this section, click here.
