Box Definition
Box 26 is used to show the unique identifier for the patient's account number. In AveaOffice, this number is the unique claim ID assigned to each claim at the time of submission.
In AveaOffice
The claim ID is assigned by AveaOffice at the time of submission and cannot be edited.
- "AV" signifies AveaOffice.
- "CERL" is unique to that individual practice in AveaOffice.
- "C1418841" is unique to the claim's dates of service.
- Claims also have instances (1.1, 1.2, 1.X) for any time a claim is resubmitted.
