Box 24j - Rendering Provider

Box Definition

Box 24j is used to show the rendering provider NPI in the non-shaded line. The shaded line corresponds to the ID Qualifier in Box 24i.

To change the rendering provider NPI on the claim form:

1. Navigate to Practice Admin and open the Rendering Providers tab.
2. Select the rendering provider to update the NPI.
3. Edit the Baseline if the change should apply to all claims billed out with this Rendering Provider.
1. Update the NPI Number field, then click Save.
   
4. Or, create a Scheduled Change Set to create an Effective Date for this NPI change. Click the Create Scheduled Change Set button.
1. Enter the Effective Date for this change, then click Save.
2. Click the Edit icon next to the Effective Date.
3. Update the NPI Number field, then click Save. 
5. Click Save.
