August 2024 Release Notes

210.2 - August 22nd, 2024

Patients: The Patients section of Avea has been enhanced to include the following quick links:
- Intake: This will redirect you to Patient > Treatment Episode > Intake.
- Attendance: This will redirect you to Patient > Treatment Episode > Scheduling and Utilization > Attendance History.
- U/R: This will redirect you to Patient > Treatment Episode > Scheduling and Utilization > UR.
- Claims: This will redirect you to Patient > Treatment Episode > Insurance Billing > Claims.
- Ins. Payments: This will redirect you to Patient > Treatment Episode > Insurance Billing > Payments.
- Patient Statements: If you have the Patient Billing module, this will redirect you to Patient > Patient Billing > Statements.
- Collect Payment: If you have the Patient Billing Module, this will redirect you to Patient > Patient Billing > Collect Payment.

Organization Dashboard: In the Management Center > Dashboards > Organization Dashboard, a new filter has been added allowing Managing Organizations to filter the dashboard at the organization level.

Practice > Facilities > Facility: Several sections of the facility profile have been renamed and updated to include additional information. These changes include:
- The [Service Name | Billing Profile Name] are now hyperlinked to open the rate profile tab.
- Under Facility Service Rates, a new column will display the Institutional Revenue Code from the billing profile. If no code is present, n/a is displayed.
- The Inst. Procedure Code column has been added and will display the Institutional HCPCS/CPT Code. If no code is present, n/a is displayed.
- The Service Rate Type column has been added and will display the type of service reference (Date of Service or Admit Date.)
- The Effective Date column has been added and will display the most recent Schedule Change-Set effective date. If no changes have been made, this column will display Baseline.
Value Code Added: Users can now create a Claim Form Rule to add Value Code 24 to claims.
