Practice Admin Overview

  • Updated

The Practice Admin section allows you to manage your practice Configuration, Services, Rendering Providers, Facilities, and Payers.

User Permissions

Only users with admin-level permissions can access and configure this section. For more information on user profiles and permissions, click here.

Configuration

The Configuration tab allows you to establish key practice settings and billing information.

This section of the Practice Admin determines what billing information is present on the claim. Click below to learn more about each section.

  • The Insurance Billing subsection houses the practice information such as the name, address, NPI, and Tax ID. This information should always mirror the information on file and credentialed with the payer. Any adjustments needed to this information should be managed with a Scheduled Change Set.
  • The Insurance Pay-To subsection provides the payer with the necessary information required to mail a check. This information includes the practice name and mailing address.
  • The Settings tab determines the practice's time zone and whether a behavioral diagnosis must be present for attendance to be recorded.
  • The Diagnoses subsection instructs the system which ICD-10 codes an organization can select and bill. Codes within each group set to Yes will be selectable when assigning the code to a patient or service.

Services

Services refer to the care and related ancillary offerings you provide to patients, which are billed for through insurance or private pay. These are configured at the Practice level; click here for instructions. Additionally, you can create Combined Service Sets to group services that should be billed together.

Rendering Providers

Rendering Providers are configured at the Practice level and must be referenced at the facility level before they can be used for billing. For more information about creating rendering providers, click here.

Facilities

The Facilities tab contains all information about the facilities within the Practice. This includes Facility profile information, which can be used to populate claim details, service references, and rendering provider references. Click here to learn more.

Payers

The Payers tab allows you to view your Payers list, add new payers (both electronic and paper), and manage your payers. You can also add contracted payer rates. Click here to learn more.
