Admitting Diagnosis Code is Invalid.


This rejection occurs when the Admitting Diagnosis Code is invalid for the claim date of service or for the diagnosis code qualifier reported.


To resolve this rejection:

  1. Navigate to Patient Treatment Episode > Intake > Behavioral Service Diagnosis (Or Standalone Service Diagnosis).mceclip0.png
  2. Select "Set" on the Admitting diagnosis.mceclip1.png
  3. Select the new diagnosis code.
  4. Navigate to Patient Treatment Episode > Insurance Billing > Review Corrections.
  5. Select "Check for Corrections".
  6. Resolve the claim correction.
  7. Navigate to Work Center > Insurance Claims > Submit claims.
  8. Submit.
