The Attendance Calendar in the RCM offers users a comprehensive, flexible way to record new treatments and manage existing ones. Let's take a closer look at the features and workflows of the attendance calendar together!
Filtered Views
In the Attendance section, users can view all admitted patients or filter results to just one patient using the Patient dropdown. Additionally, users can filter the attendance by Payer, Pay Type, Submission Status, Pending Status, and Eligibility Status.
- Users can filter the Attendance Calendar by the Patient name. This can be done by selecting the Patient dropdown or manually typing the patient's name into the search field.
- Selecting the Payer filter allows users to filter the attendance calendar to display only patients with the specified insurance.
- Selecting the Eligibility Status filter allows users to sort the calendar based on the eligibility response.
- Selecting the A/R Classification Filter will sort the Attendance Calendar by the A/R Classification found in the Admit/Discharge section of the patient's treatment episode.
- Selecting the Submission Status dropdown allows users to filter the Attendance Calendar by Unsubmitted Treatments, Submitted Treatments, or both.
- Users can utilize the Flagged Status filter to display patients with flagged services.
- Users can utilize the Pay Type filter to include Insurance-Only patients as well as Private Pay-Only.
Patient Listings
Patient listings in the Attendance Calendar now include new quick links, making it easier than ever to find and view patient information. Let's review them and see how they can improve your workflow.
- Selecting the Patient's Name will refresh the calendar to display all treatments recorded for the patient for the current month.
- Selecting the Arrow icon opens an additional browser window that loads directly in the Intake section of the patient's treatment episode.
- Selecting Auto-Fill allows a user to record multiple dates of service at once for U/R required services.
Record Attendance
The RCM offers users multiple ways to easily record services. For those using the Kipu EMR integration, services are automatically recorded when the Billing Report is transmitted.
