PR-45 Adjustments: For Organizations that use the Patient Billing module but do not want to bill patients for any PR-45 adjustments, a new feature has been released to adjust the balance of a billable automatically. When this feature is turned on, any patient billables with a balance due from PR-45 adjustments will have an adjustment applied automatically upon approval.
For example, if a billable has a total of $250 in patient responsibility and $100 stems from a PR-45 adjustment, the system will automatically reduce the billable balance by $100 upon approval, leaving $150 to be collected from the patient.
