Claim Submission Dashboard

Important: This section of the RCM will be going away over the next several months. Clients implemented after 08/01/2026 will not have access to this dashboard. Existing clients will still have access until it is removed from the RCM.

This article defines the tiles and calculations in the Claim Submission Dashboard section of the RCM. Each tile can be cross-referenced against reports in the Reporting section to determine trends.

User Permissions

Only Managing Organization Admins can access and configure this information. For more information on user profiles and permissions, click here.

Available Filters

The Dashboard has four available filters to generate and refine data.

  1. Organization: This filter allows Managing Organizations to review financial data at the organization-level.
  2. Practice: Results can be further refined at the practice-level with this filter.
  3. View Dashboard: This filter is used to switch between the overall health and the data aggregate for submitting claims.
  4. Show Data From: This filter is used as a non-customizable date range.

Tile Definitions

Let's review the titles and definitions available in the Claim Submission dashboard.

Number of Claims -Claim Submissions By Payer

The Number of Claims Submitted by Payer tile provides insight into the organization's payer mix and can help make decisions around patient intake, such as preferred payers.

This tile will display the percentage of claims submitted to each payer in the time frame selected.

Related Reports: Claim Submission Report 

Claim Submissions by Date of Service

The Claim Submissions by Date of Service tile provides insight into the health of the organization's census (low, average, or high) as well as the billing team's efficiency. 

This tile shows, by day, all billed treatments from original (1.1) claims that have services rendered in the selected date range.

Related Reports: Claim Submission Report: Filter by Only Original (1.1) Claims and select a Date Type of Service Date.

Claim Amount - Claim Submission by Payer

The Amount of Claims Submitted by Payer tile provides insight into the organization's payer mix and can help make decisions around patient intake, such as preferred payers. 

This tile displays, by claim value, the percentage of claims submitted to each payer in the selected date range.

Claim Submissions by Submission Date

The Claim Submissions by Submission Date tile provides insight into the health of the organization's census (low, average, or high) as well as the billing team's efficiency. 

This tile shows, by day, all original (1.1) claims submitted in the selected date range.

Related Reports: Claim Submission Report: Filter by Only Original (1.1) Claims and a Date Type of Submission Date.

Claim Amount - Claims Submitted By Practice

The Claim Amount Submitted by Practice tile provides insight into the health of each practice's census (low, average, or high) as well as the billing team's efficiency. 

This tile displays the value of claims submitted by practice for the selected date range.

Number of Claims - Claim Submissions by Practice

The Number of Claims Submitted by Practice tile provides insight into the health of each practice's census (low, average, or high) as well as the billing team's efficiency. 

This tile displays the total number of claims submitted by practice for the selected date range.
