Box 47 - Total Charges

Box Description

Box 47 reports the total charges – covered and non-covered – related to the current billing period.

The total charges calculated will be based on the rate and number of units billed per claim line item.

Configuration Required

Services are set up in the Practice Admin tab. Then, each service rate is configured Practice Admin > Facilities by creating a Service Reference/Facility Rate. However, a rate override could be implemented when needed for non-standard rates (such as Single Case Agreements, CSA), using a "Service Rate Override."

Location: Practice Admin > Facilities > Select Facility > Facility Services
