Box 24d - Procedures, Services, or Suppliers

Box Definition 

Box 24d is used to identify the medical services and procedures provided to the patient. Enter the CPT or HCPCS code(s) and applicable modifier(s). This field accommodates the entry of up to four two-digit modifiers per code.

• Procedure codes and modifiers are managed in the Professional Service Line section of the Service Billing Profile. To learn more about updating the billing profile, click here. 
• A Servicing Grouping Rule can be used to update the billing profile the claim is created with. Additionally, a Line Item Rule can be used to add a modifier to the claim. 
• The HCPCS/CPT can be altered on a claim before submitting it using our Claim Edits feature. To learn more about this feature, click here.
