Box Definition 

Boxes 10a, 10b, and 10c indicate whether the Patient's condition is related to employment, an auto accident, or another type of accident. 

In Kipu RCM

The RCM requires the Accident information to be added to the Admit/Discharge section of the patient's treatment episode, and a claim rule requires information to be included in Box 10a/b/c. Unlike other claim rules, this information can be added with a Service Grouping Rule or a Claim Form Rule. For additional information on claim rules, click here.
