Definition
The clearinghouse has identified some payer IDs that are duplicates of other existing payer IDs. Please be aware of the clearinghouse payer change and submit all new claims/eligibility to the preferred payer ID moving forward.
Resolution
Attached, find a list of the new payer IDs to send claims and eligibility with an effective date. It is recommended to contact the payer to verify the change of payer ID for dates of service just before and just after the effective date to ensure that submitted claims were received and are processing.
To update any claims, you may wish to create a new insurance set for new dates of service, but be aware that claim resubmissions or corrections may also require submission to the new payer ID.
